I’M TIAH

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I made a vow to God that if he would see me through this journey, I would help as many women as I can. Since then, I have dedicated myself to being a community change agent and advocate, with a focus on health disparities, black women's health, generational health and healthy lifestyle education.

For over 18 years in my professional career, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a chemist and training and development leader and later in the healthcare industry as a community and engagement manager. I am a Project Lead graduate with the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC). I have advocated for survivors on Capitol Hill; served as a board member and advisory board member for several organizations and pharmaceutical companies; published a research paper on Clinical Trials in Metastatic Breast Cancer; have spoken on numerous panels including the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the Congressional Briefing with Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP). Through my life's work, I am moving people from Awareness to Action.

MY MISSION

As an Advocate, Cancer Coach, a Breast Health Educator, a certified plant-based Food for Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and the CEO of The Nilmot Group, LLC, an education, engagement, and outreach consulting firm, my mission is to move women and teen girls from Awareness to Action as well as stopping the silence about breast health.

None of this would have been possible without partnerships with community organizations like My Style Matters, Inc. and 2for2 Boobs,
